Endless Buzz on an Anticipated Grand Opening
Hargrove’s Fine Wine & Spirits is a brand new, family owned & operated boutique wine shop in San Antonio. Centrally located on Broadway Street and next to the Witte Museum, owners William and Amber Hargrove wanted to provide a boutique wine shop dedicated to offering a hand-picked, world-class selection of the finest (and rarest) wine from around the globe.
Slated to open in May, the Hargrove’s shop has many local wine aficionados anxiously awaiting for opening day.
Developing the Vision
McBad Creative was incredibly honored to work alongside William and Amber in developing their vision to life. Much like their selection of wine, the Hargrove’s brand needed to be sophisticated, timeless, and whimsical. We started with the foundation to any brand – the logo.
From there, we were tasked with designing a dynamic-yet-simple website that would be able to translate the brand’s overall aesthetic while also balancing a clean interface that would make navigating the website both enjoyable and enticing.
The first and foremost rule of any website design is to attract – followed by engage, inform, and convert. A website visitor cannot engage or be informed by a website that does not first attract them. We feel by introducing the website’s homepage with a dynamically simple video of pouring wine will intrigue the website’s visitors into exploring what other design features are in store for them.
