If compiling a year's worth of thanks into one day seems daunting, start small by gratitude journaling from day to day or even week to week. When you look at each passing year with an eye for gratitude, you'll get better and better at it until the number of things you're thankful for greatly outnumbers the years that you've been on this beautiful earth.

The brain is a beautiful thing. It's deeply complex and intricate with so many neural pathways that it's hard to know exactly which electrical impulses are being fired from where. You're already complete, but don't be afraid to push the boundaries of your existence. When you stop seeking fulfillment and meaning from outside of yourself, you'll be able to reach new magnificent heights. When you know that you have all it takes to make it happen, you will be more confident in your decisions and actions. With less time spent searching for what you need, you'll have the mental capacity to find new acts that bring more delight into your life.
